Free IN CDL Double/Triple Trailers Practice Test 2024

If you’re preparing to add the Double/Triple Trailers endorsement to your Indiana Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), the main challenge is passing a 20-question multiple-choice knowledge test. You’ll need a score of 80% (16 correct answers) to get this endorsement. Once you’re certified, the “T” endorsement on your CDL authorizes you to pull two or three trailers (where laws allow) and drive combination vehicles that require this added expertise (Indiana CDL Handbook 2024).

In the “Hoosier State,” even with a Double/Triple Trailers endorsement, you’re only allowed to pull double trailers. But make no mistake, earning this endorsement not only elevates your credibility in the transport industry but also dramatically increases your job prospects and earning potential. Double trailers are often used throughout the Indiana for the transport of construction equipment, heavy machinery, and building materials for construction sites. Additionally, with this certification you can participate in cross-docking operations in Indiana logistics hubs. You may be saying to yourself, “This sounds incredible! But how can I best prepare for the test?”

There’s plenty of online information out there, but sifting through it can get overwhelming fast. What you need is a systematic, focused approach. That’s exactly what our online practice test offers. Updated as of November 2024, it includes 20 multiple-choice questions that resemble what you will face at the BMV on your test day!

With our online Indiana CDL Doubles/Triples practice test, you’ll receive instant, detailed feedback on your answers. If you answer incorrectly, you’ll immediately see why a different response is correct. Gone are the days of receiving an onslaught of feedback on multiple categories clumped together at the end of a test. Our real time approach aids in mental retention and solidifies the content as you go.

In Indiana, you only need to pass the knowledge test to add the “T” endorsement to your Class A or Class B CDL. There is no additional driving test. Once you’ve prepared, practiced with our free tests, and feel confident, simply apply at the BMV. Bring your documents, pay the appropriate fee, and pass the test to officially add the endorsement.
